My minecraft launcher is not working, My internet is Completely fine and so is my wifi but when i log on to the minecraft launcher it says i can only play offline, is there a solution for this.

The Letters in my Minecraft Chat have disappeared and I have tried everything, all i need is for the letters to come back.
