When villagers sleep they start to like float away and just never stop i figured this out the hard way but when i tested it again when i break there beds some come back i did a experiment and i made 5 villagers sleep and only 2 repapered after i broke the bed so i am confused

This is also happening on PS4. I have a large structure with 12 beds. When the villagers go to sleep, they start floating horizontally and pass through the walls and out over the water. I think I have lost a few, because their professions were maxed out and later they had reset to novice. I just bought the game a few weeks ago, so I do not know if this is a new issue.
