I was playing on a realm and when my villagers would go to sleep they would fly off into the distance and only occasionally come back when they wake up or I break the beds

This has happened to me as well. Example screenshots attached.
I've also seen "phantom" villagers standing in the world, but the do not seem actually exist... they seem to be leftover images of villagers who have since gone elsewhere.
I've also experienced doors opening and closing due to villagers that are invisible and with which I cannot interact.
I started seeing these issues with v1.16.100. Whatever was done recently has really messed up villager dynamics. Please resolve ASAP! This is making my worlds increasingly unplayable.
