Importing New Skins is not working

So while I was playing Minecraft Windows 10 beta version with a friend, I was able to import skins into the game and playing with my custom made skins whenever I wanted to and it helped me get more creative with how I wanted to make avatars and seeing how they look in my game. But after updating my Minecraft game, suddenly the ability to choose new skins to import was revoked and I was unable to do anything. I tried any regular issue, I tried looking at videos to no avail. Please help me, as I hope this is just a bug issue and not just my game in general
