My friend cant join my world

I'm not sure if you are aware, but on bedrock editions for console and pe theres a glitch where you friend cannot join your world, The problem usually has an solution throwing instant harm potions on them while loading in, unfortunately I can't do that because we're in creative and I cant put him in survival because he isn't register as an entity, So im begging you too fix this glitch so me and my friend can play again he sounds very upset
