MY MOBS ARE DISAPPEARING!

Dear Mojang I understand you are very busy but I ask for help. I've been playing on the same world since 2017 and I have loved playing through the updates on the world, but tonight I was distraught. I left my spawn chunks to find a geode. But when I came back to my base 75% of my villagers were gone, all of my farm animals were gone too. But the worst part was even though I had about 30 dogs, they were all gone without a trace. I know you deal with a lot of complaints and I appreciate your time and I did make a copy of the world, but it broke my heart to see the world me, my friends, and family have worked on just broken. I really appreciate your work and I just wanted to have my favorite world back.
