Going between dimensions can cause players to disconnect.
How to reproduce:
Get a few players in the server
Travel between dimensions
Sometimes the other players will disconnect
Notes:
This usually happens when all players are going through the same portal.

its only happening on dedicated server, and the host device (mine) is a pc and the other 2 players were on pc and mobile. But i dont think the bug is platform specific.
