502 Minecraft Realms Issue

The Evidently common Issue of the 502 error code when joining realms. I have tried multiple possible remedies, but none seem to have worked. The wierd thing is that my friend, who lives only a short bit away, is able to play on our realm. I would appreciate a quick fix for this issue. Many Thanks.
