Hello Minecraft Support,
I’m hosting a Bedrock Dedicated Server on a VPS and currently no one can connect — both PC and PS5 clients fail with version errors, even though the server is fully updated.
Here are the details:
Server: Bedrock Dedicated Server 1.21.120.4 (downloaded from the official site)
PC client: Version 1.21.114 (no update available in the Microsoft Store)
PS5 client: Version 1.21.120
Before the update, my PC could connect, but the PS5 got “Host is outdated.”
After updating the server to 1.21.120.4, my PC now gets “Client is outdated,” and the PS5 still gets “Host is outdated.”
This means neither platform can connect, even though the server is running the latest official version. It seems like the PS5 version might not yet match the same sub-version (possibly 1.21.120.0 vs 1.21.120.4).
Could you please confirm whether this is a known rollout delay or compatibility issue between the PS5 Bedrock build and the latest Bedrock Dedicated Server release?
Is there any workaround to make the server accessible again until all platforms sync up?
Thank you,
Paul

I just deleted mc and reinstalled with the launcher and now my pc is on the newest version. My settings are gone though
Having the same issue, it seems as if theres no update for PC and every other version is getting a update?
