Severe Memory Leak / Excessive RAM Usage in Minecraft Bedrock After Recent Update

After the latest Minecraft Bedrock update, the game consistently uses an abnormally large amount of RAM, even in simple worlds such as flat worlds with no structures, addons, or resource packs. RAM usage climbs continuously until the game becomes laggy or unresponsive. This behavior did not occur in previous versions.

Issue Description:

Launching a new world (including flat worlds with no features) causes Minecraft Bedrock to allocate an excessively high amount of system RAM. RAM usage starts around 1–2 GB but steadily increases during gameplay, eventually reaching 3–6 GB or more without any mods, packs, or heavy world content.

The issue appears to scale upward continuously, suggesting a memory leak in the latest update. Closing and reopening the game temporarily resets memory usage, but the leak immediately begins again.

Expected Behavior:

Minecraft Bedrock on PC should maintain stable and predictable RAM usage, especially in low-complexity worlds. Flat worlds previously used ~800 MB to ~1.5 GB of RAM consistently.

Observed Behavior

RAM usage continuously increases over time.

Even basic worlds cause memory use to exceed 4 GB+

Performance degrades as RAM usage rises (lag spikes, stutters)

No addons, resource packs, or background programs are involved

Occurs on multiple PC configurations.
