It doesn' twork to connect to windows or ubuntu bedrock servers with online mode and whitelist enabled.
Steps to recreate:
Create a new world
Disable all firewalls.
Expected result: spawn into the world
Actual result: multiplayer connection failed
On ubuntu, I can’t even connect at all even with online mode and whitelist off. I have made new installations of windows, still can’t connect.

I am beyond befuddled as it seeems to work intermittently on Windows 2025 server.
Please don’t just say ‘can’t reproduce' I can send whatever files to help you diagnose the problem. I normally host my server on ubuntu over ipv6 and it’s worked great, until the past few updates, where I haven’t even bothered to play, other than spending hours and hours trying to debug the problem.
