Ever since the update 1.21.130, I (who play on PC, iPad and Samsung s25) have not been able to join custom servers since the update. I have a server that I had made for a few months that I had no issues joining this morning before the update.
Have a custom server, then attempt to join. It will either crash you, or force you to the Main menu; however, when attempting to join a realm/world following this, you cannot join the world/realm. Normally when attempting, you are able to join the server with no issues.

Note: I have two Custom Servers, one vanilla and one with add-ons from MCPEDL like Brickloom, Just Cosmetics, and several others that do not require experimentals. This worked before the update, and both servers are affected, not just the modded one.
Referencing Can't create a world with add on's - Minecraft: Bedrock Edition - Jira Service Management bug report as well as it was determined addons within a world created prior and after will not allow to join unless it was a marketplace addon world (which is not possible for BDS players) or a vanilla world. They did work prior to the update however.

It is to note that this server has been up since September 15th and was in the previous game drop working as intended, up until today’s update. Most add-ons are stable and are used a lot in our server. We do not want to reset if we don’t have to, as a lot of my server have mega-builds that use these add-ons, and have made a lot of progress that we do not wish to be wiped.
I am having a very similar issue when attempting to connect to any BDS with addons and or scripts. I will get frozen on the modified world screen and it will never progress, if it does it inevitably crashes my game. Players from pc and mobile are able to connect sometimes while console players have no ability to do so currently because of this issue.

Public Servers, Worlds and Realms are fine to join, just custom ones unless you attempt to join following joining a server.
