Allow List ignored

I have noticed an issue with 1.26.52.3 where any player at all can join a server whether allowed or not.

It appears that the whitelist/allowlist is being ignored?

To confirm, I installed a completely vanilla version of BDS 1.26.52.3 on a new computer, I left all options as default, started the server, witnessed the warning message “Allow list is enabled but contains no entries.” and then proceeded to join the default generated world (‘worlds/Bedrock level/db’) without issue. I then tried with a gamertag that is not me, restarted, I was still able to join the world.

I can confirm “allow-list=true” in server.properties (default), I even tried command “allowlist on” (this shouldn’t be necessary) and got confirmation from the server it was on and there was no change to join behaviour.

Can anyone else please test/replicate/confirm similar behaviour?
