After updating from Bedrock Dedicated Server 1.26.60.6 to 1.26.61.1, players can no longer join my dedicated bedrock server. The client immediately receives a Terracotta error with "InitialConnection-149".
The server was working normally on version 1.26.60.6 using the same world, server configuration, hardware, and network settings.
Steps to reproduce:
Start Bedrock Dedicated Server 1.26.61.1.
Attempt to join the server from Minecraft for Windows.
Connection fails before entering the world.
Expected result:
Players should be able to join the server normally, as they could on version 1.26.60.6.
Actual result:
The connection fails during the initial connection process and the client receives:
Terracotta
Error Detail: InitialConnection-149
Additional information:
Bedrock Dedicated Server 1.26.61.1
Client version 1.26.60 (Windows GDK)
The server uses the default Bedrock networking stack (RakNet)
The same world and server configuration worked correctly on Dedicated Server 1.26.60.6
No significant changes were made to the server configuration between versions
The issue occurs for all players
The issue also occurs when joining through the server's local IP address on the same network, indicating it is not related to port forwarding or external connectivity
The server starts successfully and remains online, but players cannot complete the connection process
