The server running fine if you are connected to the local WiFi( tested using the IP and Port and everything worked fine.) However, when someone tries to connect that’s not on the same WiFi, they are unable to connect and there is just a red dot. I have tried to fix by allowing pings(using this tutorial). Yet I still have no luck. I am not use what it can be. This is also my first time making a server. Anyone have any suggestions on what could be the problem?

If you haven't already, you must setup port forwarding in your network to allow a connection through the same port of your server. It's usually underneath your router settings.

I have tried to do the port forwarding but when I check to see if its open it still says close. This is what I did. On my routers page I set up port forwarding as such, the Inbound Port & Local Port to 20000 as the port of the server and IP address is set to my IPv4. In addition, I have also also set up my outbound port to 20000. I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

I got it to work. Although when I test the port it says that it is close. I can still connect to it from outside. That just throw me off. Also I didn’t you had to use your public up for it. Now it is all working.
