Slimeblock don't shoot you up if you are standing next to a block

I noticed this when my slimeblock elevator stopped working due to this bug. When standing on a slimeblock and using a piston to shoot you up without a wall next to you it works fine but if there is a block next to you aren't thrown up the piston just pushes you up a block
