Just as the title says, My Minecraft Skin is appearing as the Default Steve Skin for other users when I connect with them via local/online and I've completed every possible step to reduce latency/errors by deleting caches/local files, resinstalling the software, etc. but there is nothing I seemingly can do any further at this point.
Incredibly frustrating considering the amount of money that I have paid to have some fun skins and after 5-12 minutes of loading to discover each time that I'm just a baby boy Steve.
I hope that someone can refer me to a method of operation to try to force this title to be functional and operate as advertised – coming back to it after a year of it already being unplayable to this just adds to the frustration, I trust that the staff is adamantly working on methods to fix these issues, but I'd rather the game to be playable and function as advertised versus having more content/gimmicks that take away the precious resources that is to be conserved for the Nintendo Switch.
Thank you for taking the time to address these issues and to develop a response to my post.

This is usually caused by the setting "Only allow trusted skins" in the profile section of the settings. Unfortunately some users were using custom skins in multiplayer games and servers that were not appropriate which appears to have resulted in this setting and its being turned on by default.
