[MC-100707] Sound doesn't work sometimes

Sometimes all Minecraft sounds are disabled and can only be enabled by restarting the game. This might be related to having the system volume off when starting Minecraft.

Did you close the launcher as well or did you leave it open before setting the system value to 0?

Maybe, I don't know. Since I wrote this bug report, I didn't have that missing sound again, but I play without sound most of the time anyway.

It just happened in 1.10.2. System sound was not at 0 when starting Minecraft, so I removed that from the report and added a crash report.
Interestingly it says "Cheats: false" although cheats are enabled in that world.

Aaand reverted because I'm not sure anymore. There is one sound I deactivated with the ressource pack and for the rest I'm not sure if it was actually disabled or I just didn't hear it.

I know a map on which it's more apparent ("Terra Swoop Force"), I'll try with it in a few hours. I definitely had it in 1.9.4 with this map recently.

100% repeatable windows 10 no sound in minecraft 10 beta with one exception, i have never had sound in minecraft beta. other games are okay

Is this still an issue in the most recent versions (currently that is 1.11.2, or 17w06a) of Minecraft?
