Graphical errors in main menu in slim windows

When the size of the MC window is way higher than it is wide (the logo isn't fully visible), there are visual errors that appear at the top and grow down when the window get slimmer. First it's only white and the background landscape gets zoomed in, but then there are more visual errors I can't really describe well.
