1. Put elytra on.
2. Dig a 1*1*x row of blocks out of the ground.
3. Stand next to the entry.
4. Jump twice so that elytra gets activated and fly inside the row (you might have to sprint to not get pushed out again).
Result: The player model is two blocks high again as soon as player reaches the ground, but the hitbox stays one block high and it's actually possible to walk around in a one block high space. Shifting restores the hitbox, making you suffocate in a block.

Seen this reported already, but can't find the correct report.

You marked this as duplicate before, for which one?

This also allows to go through one high areas. There are already people using this bug, so if it doesn't get fixed soon there will be people complaining again...

Can apparently also happen when landing on slime blocks.

Adjusted the title and description, because it was not accurate and partly wrong.

No, thank you for notifying me!

The beginning of this video has a lot of information about this bug: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iKznTnBdZfE

The beginning of the next episode is also about this.

Confirmed for 1.13.1.
This also relates to MC-125774, if you shift now you don't get damage.

Fixed in 1.14-pre1 (or maybe earlier).
