When mobs take damage, and seem to ignore knockback when hit by the player(in creative and survival), but as soon as they move away (from what is causing damage to them) they can be knocked back again.
Tested with fire, magma block and cactus.
Does not happen while the mob is in a minecart or when a undead mob is set on fire from sunlight.
When a mob attempts to attack a player that takes damage from those sources, the player isn't knocked back either

@Galaxy_2Alex Sorry I am not a native English speaker so I might have worded it strangely, but this is happening in to me 16w21a. I restarted it and now they are move on their own accord, but still don't get knocked back when hit
This is intended, the mob/player takes damage (but knockback) from the cactus, fire, etc. And the other mob/player can't hit them for a moment (intended).
As soon as they become hitable again, they get hit by the cactus, fire, etc.
Note: burning without standing in a fire/lava block does not have this behaviour.
This is a feature request, this site is only meant to be used for bug tracking.
