If you brake a Minecart (in survival) the tooltip in the inventory is no longer "Minecart" it is "entity.MinecartRiedable.name" and it stays even you have droped and picked it up again. If you craft it, take it out of the Creative inventory or pick up a non-placed-Minecart the tooltip is "Minecart".
(It exists in all 1.9. versions but I could not selected any other version. Question: Why?)
