Snowballs, Eggs, and Potions break when hitting tall grass and flowers

After being thrown, snowballs, eggs, and potions break when hitting tall grass, double tall grass, and all types of flowers. This shouldn't be happening because these blocks are supposed to be able to be passed through by entities. Arrows (any type) and Ghast fireballs can pass through these blocks with no problem, though.
