[MC-10344] Weird Graphical chest bug

A chest that contained my player head now looks like that head, or is atleast trying to be

is there any steps to reproduce this error? I tried putting my head in a chest, but it doesn't work for me.

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
