From what I'm seeing, this is very similar to another Crash Report, but instead of an Ender Portal, this one is dealing with a chest:
Description: Server forgot to send required information to construct BlockEntity
java.lang.RuntimeException: Missing BlockEntity
and
– BlockEntity missing instance data –
Details:
BlockState: minecraft:chest[facing=south]
Block coordinates: World: (-2036,27,564), Chunk: (at 12,1,4 in -128,35; contains blocks -2048,0,560 to -2033,255,575), Region: (-4,1; contains chunks -128,32 to -97,63, blocks -2048,0,512 to -1537,255,1023)
Interestingly enough, both have to do with a Multiplayer Server (Although one also crashes in Singleplayer), and use Minecraft 1.10.1.
Mr. Searge noted this in the bottom of this post:
Mr. Searge noted in this blog post that we need to know if the server is Vanilla or not:

Especially with 1.10.1.
I am not sure of how to fix your problem as of right now.
Please attach the crash report (
