[MC-104249] i tried to join a server but it kept crashing

What I expected to happen was: me to open a server

What actually happened was it crashed:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open mc
2. open server folder
3. join an almost full server

Environment

OS: Mac OS X (ver 10.11.5, arch x86_64)
Java: 1.8.0_74 (by Oracle Corporation)
Launcher: Minecraft Launcher 1.6.61 (bootstrap 100)
Minecraft: 1.10.1 (updated Wed Jun 22 03:14:48 PDT 2016)

There's a bug in Minecraft 1.10.1 that crashes your game when connecting to servers.
See MC-103981 and MC-103978 for more info.

In the meantime, you can safely downgrade to 1.10 until a proper fix is released.
To change your game to a different version, start the launcher. Select Edit Profile.
In the "Use Version" dropdown menu, select the game version you want. Then click Save Profile.
