I cannot go into a server for more than a minute in normal unmodded 1.10.1 minecraft

I wanted to log on to my friends server, and after playing for a bit more than a minute, the game crashed. This happens every time I try this and only happens in Minecraft 1.10.1 The game crashes by saying " Server forgot to send required information to construct BlockEntity"
