[MC-104883] Skin colours not showing up / Black skin

Until 1.9 was released, I have never encountered such an issue. However, when I use 1.9.x or 1.10.x, my skin becomes almost completely black:

I did not find any reports about this issue, if I have not looked enough or there is a solution, I apologise for posting this again. Thank you for your time.

Unfortunately I do no longer have it saved onto my computer... And when I try to download it again for some reason it downloads the default skin, not the one I am trying to download...

The handling of transparency in the skin files was changed in 1.9: MC-82464 / MC-89760

By making the second layers actually transparent.

how do u make the second layers transparent bc i have the same issue and cant fix it accept when i cancel everything in options > skin customization to only see my skin accept with the second layer pls help its killing me
