What I expected to happen was...:
What i expected to happen was that i could play Minecraft on a high quality resource pack (512x512)

What actually happened was...:
my game crashed and it wont let me access Minecraft. It only lets me access the crash log and update notes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Put a step by step guide on how to trigger the bug here
2. go on resource packs and put a high quality one on
3. click * done *
