Improper End Portal creation. (Creative mode)

Upon placing End Portal Frames in the proper configuration and then placing the Ender Eyes into each frame, the portal spawned outside of the box, adjacent to the south facing part of the square. This issue only seems to occur when an End Portal Frame is broken and replaced before the final Ender Eye is placed into the frames, and will not spawn in the correct position unless every Portal Frame is removed.
