Chunk error

So I was making a new survival world and this one took more that usual to load. I loaded in and I spawned in one chunk and the rest was the void so I kept pressing f4 and a to refresh and it did nothing to the world. Then I walked over to 3 chickens and the were stuck in place flapping their wings. I forced a crash then went back into the world and nothing happened. Have a good day as well!
