Shulker Boxes vanishing at a distance

When playing around with Shulker Boxes (I was making floor designs), I discovered if you fly about 65 blocks above the Shulker Box, it vanishes from sight, allowing you to see it as though the Shulker box had been destroyed (easiest to describe by looking at pictures)

After Further Investigation, I realize chests also vanish at this height. But these items are chest AND blocks (At least from a creative side of view)
