When I break dirt blocks, it plays a different sound. I have no texture packs on and all my sounds are up to max. I have uploaded a file what dirt sounds like. UPDATE: You must download the file to hear it. ANOTHER UPDATE: I have attached a manual crash report to the issue.

Most probably something has messed up the assets of your game.
Stop Minecraft and Launcher
Delete the folder
.minecraft/assetsRestart Launcher and Minecraft
Assets will be redownloaded
