After world icon reset, new one not created

Cannot Reproduce

After a reset of my world icon, minecraft doesn't create a new one, custom ones do work though. Minecraft version 1.11.2 on pc edition

Cannot reproduce in 1.11.2. Anyone else able to reproduce?

You have to go into the world and play for a few minutes before Minecraft generates a new icon.
