[MC-113096] Game ended with bad state (exit code -1073740791)

I recently updated Java to the latest version. Ever since that I am unable to launch the game. The error log just sais "Game ended with bad state (exit code -1073740791)". I also can't revert to the old version of Java because I can't find anything on that.
I have tried completely reinstalling minecraft from scratch, but that does not work either.
Please help me resolve this issue

It's the - in front of the code that messes up the search, as it means "exclude this word".
If you search for just "1073740791" it'll show more results.
