inventory gui not closed be "inventory" key (default E)

the inventory GUI is opened by the inventory key (default E). Normally, the same key closes it, or you can hit esc. In the latest snapshot, only esc works. The inventory key does not close it. this is a problem because many people usually close it with the inventory key, and using esc is a pain.
EDIT: seems to have cleared up, so nvm.
