Cannot play on servers because of java.lang.NullPointerException

My client updated yesterday. In the morning, I could play on a server, but after it updated, it gives me the error: java.lang.NullPointerException

I don't care about the new snapshot. I just want to be able to play on the server I'm apart of. Can you roll back my client please - to something that works. Thanks.
