When typing, if you spell a word wrong and backspace, it deletes the entire word.

Duplicate of MC-3643, please use the search function to see if your bug has already been submitted. Currently over 53% of tickets are being closed as duplicate.

This issue is back for me. When I type words in chat or in command, a backspace will delete a whole word.
OS 10.8.4 using Java 6 by Apple. Launcher 1.0.10 and Minecraft 1.6.2 with and without Mcpatcher
