I load minecraft in the new launcher, game plays fine Next day I load minecraft, I press play and the game says it crashed. For no serious reason. It just happened.

Does it drop any error message or something? Also, just in case you're using a nvidia graphics card, please try and see if the hotfix of MC-112780 fixes your issue.
