Colour cycling on the console interface

There was a glitch in the command line interface
What I expected to happen was...:
Describe what you thought should happen here

What actually happened was...:
I typed he (wanted to type help) and the characters and underscore flashed grey

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Type 1 character

Note:
It stopped hapenning after i finished typing help but it started off with two flashing character, then 1 and now i havent seen it happen yet
