Username Change Bug

So, I just changed my username, and whenever I try to go on any server, it says 'Not authenticated with Minecraft.net'. Is it an issue of time, and it will go away eventually, or not? Please help.

close the launcher and game and then log in again.

I tried that, a lot! And, it didn't work. Any other ways?
