Player kicked on multiplayer when when unlocking crafting recipes

When playing on a server, if an item is picked up which unlocks a new crafting recipe, then the player is kicked from the server. When they join back in, the server ignores any new items they pick up and will not unlock any new crafting recipes until it is reset.
