Most of the time when trying to start Minecraft I recieve this error message...
"The game crashed whilst initializing game
Error: byx: Unable to fit: minecraft:blocks/lava_flow - size: 32x32 - Maybe try a lowerresolution resourcepack?"
The game will sometimes start and will have no issues while running. However, just loading the game will generate the error most of the time. The game is unmodded and I'm not using any custom texture packs.

I have no resource packs installed.

Also uninstalled the game then reinstalled it, but the same error message still pops up.

Do you have any custom resource packs installed? If so, try disabling them.
If you can't start Minecraft to disable the custom resource packs, go to the folder
%appdata%\.minecraft
, then openoptions.txt
. You should be able to see a line that starts withresourcePacks
. Change its value to[]
.Then try starting Minecraft!
