doLimitedCrafting set to 'true' does not allow crafting yellow dye with dandelions

doLimitedCrafting set to 'true' does not allow crafting yellow dye with dandelions when you acquire a dandelion. If you have a dandelion then switch doLimitedCrafting to false, you still do not get the recipe but can craft a yellow dye (which unlocks the recipe). Switching back to 'true' now allows you to use dandelions to craft yellow dye.

I expected that having a dandelion in your inventory would unlock the yellow dye recipe.
