[MC-11702] Minecart with TNT detonates randomly

I placed a Minecart with TNT, but it instantly detonated. (I SWEAR I did NOT place it on an active Activator Rail.) I placed another, and it detonated after a few seconds (it didn't even touch an activator rail). WTF is this?

Can you post some screenshots or a video? Is this in singleplayer or multiplayer?

TNT minecarts will explode if their speed changes rapidly. (ie if it falls off of a large cliff)
