help

This affects 1.8versions that I am aware of( my main ). When I start minecraft all goes well, but then gets stuck on the "Building Terrain" screen any time I try to load a singleplayer game or multiplayer server. For the past 32 hours I have been Unable to play my favorite game... please help! Honestly it needs to be fixed, I have seen other reports like this and the Helpers/mods arnt doing anything. But for the 1/10 players who have this issue they NEED you to fix it. it isn't our internet, I know that because I can write this and play other games. please respond andFIX THIS BUG
