When the mob was killed by the iron golem it was still swinging its arms.

26th Duplicate of MC-590, please use the search function to see if your bug has already been submitted. Currently over 54% of tickets are being closed as duplicate.
This also can happen if you change the difficulty to peaceful while the golem is attacking a hostile mob.
