[MC-119118] I killed an elder guardian today and it is still giving me mining fatigue 3

There is this server that I play on with my friend, which is a YouTube server, we live on an island next to an ocean monument and my friend killed the elder guardian and yet, is still affecting us, in which it shouldn't according to the Wiki.

No idea what you read on the Wiki (which isn't a official resource by the way), but it states:

Once each minute, the elder guardian will search for players in a 50-block radius who are not afflicted with mining fatigue III for a minute or longer. The players found will be inflicted with mining fatigue III for 5 minutes, and a ghostly image of the elder guardian will appear to the player, accompanied with a ghastly noise.

So wait 5 minutes until the mining fatigue III effect disappears.

According to MC-119119 you're using some server software that's not vanilla.

This issue has been closed as invalid.

Your game, launcher or server is modified.
If you can reproduce the issue in a vanilla environment, please recreate the issue.

Any non-standard client/server/launcher build needs to be taken up with the appropriate team, not Mojang.
Any plugin issues need to be addressed to the creator of the plugin or resource pack.
If you have problems on large servers, such as The Hive and Hypixel, please contact them first as they run modified server software.
