Parrots do not get off my shoulder when jumping

We do not have enough information to find the cause of this issue.
Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report ([minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt|http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/guides/finding-minecraft-data-folder]) here.

Once attached, the report will be reopened automatically.

Same problem.  Vanilla client and ubuntu server without mods.

I can remove a parrot by falling in water or sleeping in a bed, but not by jumping.  Now the parrots are on my shoulder in the nether, I can't get them off, and can't use the portal. (Parrots blocking portal use has been noted on MCPE Jira project but I don't see a ticket in the MC project)

Hmm, I seem to be unable to create a crash report with F3+C

It's a recent version, though I don't see it reporting the version in the menu.
