[MC-120207] Minecraft freezes and locks up my computer

If I attempt to exit fullscreen before I have loaded a world, Minecraft freezes. Sometimes when exiting Minecraft it freezes. The only way to fix this is forcibly restart my computer.

No, I can use fullscreen. The problem comes when I try to exit fullscreen. Sometimes it works just fine, and other times it freezes my whole computer. That issue has a different problem than I do.
